What I liked

I went to Patience Ward in Guys via Queen Marys and St Thomas's I.C.U with legionaires disease as my kidneys had ceased to function. I found the care to be excellent, the staff kept me informed as to my progress and the various disciplines involved in my care worked as a team.

What could be improved

When you come to in a hospital and are completly disorientated it is very difficult to know what to ask. When I had got my thoughts together my questions were answered. Howevr, it is difficult to know what to ask. Since I was discharged I have done some work with the Kidney Modernisation Project looking at the documentation for patients
