"Hospital stay with son"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Renal (Ward 3C)

(as a parent/guardian),

We recently had a 2 week admission with our son for treatment and investigation of long term constipation. We initially were admitted to ward 2c then after one night moved to ward 3c. Every member of staff (nurses and domestics) were amazing and it was clearly a very busy ward but on all our interactions with the staff we never felt rushed and you could tell they truly cared and took an interest. A special mention to Ellie, Heather and another nurse (sorry I've forgotten her name but thick dark hair normally up in a clip).  Our son particularly enjoyed the use of the playroom facilities and the medicinema it definitely made our stay easier.

Dear Mummy2boys,

As Senior Charge nurse for Ward 3C Ortho I'd like to thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

I am delighted you felt cared for. I have a great team who pride themselves in ensuring they do all they can for the patients in their care. Ellie and Heather are valued members of the team, I will pass your comments on to them and the other staff on the ward.

I hope your son is doing well.

Best wishes,

Steff
