"Unprofessional practice"

About: Moorside Surgery

I recently went for a diabetes review in which I spoke to a nurse that said my levels were high and she wanted to create a plan for medication and a way to bring my levels down. But after the review, I had no contact from the nurse, they even said they wrote me a prescription for that week which the pharmacy said was never made. The nurse even mentioned that she knew I had a tight work schedule and was unable to have an appointment in that time, so she promised to book me in for appointments after work even for telephone calls just to check up on my levels and discuss further plans. But I was left with another empty promise.

I was left with no medication and no future contact, I had called multiple times to try and arrange an appointment, but the receptionists never helped and blamed me for their lack of professionalism.

I find this very unprofessional, and I was neglected after being promised support and a clear plan to help me with my diabetes. I am very appalled and saddened by the service within the surgery.
