"Post COVID care and rehab"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Female Medical

(as a relative),

My dad was cared for on Female Medical recently after recovering from COVID.  He asked us to pass on his thanks to all the staff who cared for him.  He felt in good hands and while everyone was busy they were attentive, efficient and proficient but also friendly and caring.

We also want to pass our thanks as his family, while it was unfortunate that the ward is closed to visitors just as he came onto it, we were reassured by being able to speak to the nursing staff about how he was doing and knowing he was being looked after.

Dad and us are just so grateful to have him back home and we can't thank the staff enough for helping to get him here.  You are doing an amazing job and we are so pleased he was under your care.

thank you so much for taking the time to write about your fathers stay

we are delighted as a team that your experience as a family and your fathers experience as an inpatient was a positive one

we are so conscience that patients and their families are so affected by the pandemics policies and that it is such a difficult time for everyone involved

I will feedback to the staff as it really boosts morale to hear positive experiences

I wish your dad well in his recovery
