I was recently referred to QMH in Dunfermline, Fife, following a post menopausal bleed. I was quite concerned as there can be an increased risk of endometrial cancer when taking Tamoxifen, which I was prescribed following breast cancer.
I would describe my treatment in Cinic 4 as outstanding.
The staff there, led by Dr McNab and Dr Devi were very supportive and kind. I felt reassured every step of the way.
Both doctors explained the procedures in full prior to and following the minor surgery.
On both occasions, the procedures were painless. I had been anxious about this but was offered lots of reassurance by the nurses present.
My only criticism would be the amount of time I had to wait for my appointments (bleed in July, second biopsy in October) but this was not the responsibility of the staff there.
I am extremely grateful for the level of care I received and would like to thank all the staff working in Clinic 4.
