"I really appreciate you all"

About: Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50) / Maternity care (Ward 48)

(as a service user),

I have been attending the Fetal Medicine Department frequently during my pregnancy and recently have been atttending Ward 48 as a day case patient whilst I get a procedure done in Fetal Medicine every fortnight.

I just want to say how amazing the staff are with me. I am always very nervous and probably not the easiest patient to deal with, but everyone from the hcsws, midwives, doctors and consultants have been absolutely amazing with me and take time to put me at ease, listen to me and reassure me.

I just want to say thank you for all you do. It doesn't go unnoticed. I really appreciate you all.

Dear CmacUnicorn,

Many thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience here at the QEUH in both Fetal Medicine and Ward 48. We always aim to ensure that our care is both kind and compassionate.

It is lovely to hear that our amazing team of healthcare support workers, midwives and doctors put you at ease and make you feel reassured and listened to during what is undoubtedly a very stressful time for you.

I will make sure that all of the team are thanked and are aware of your appreciation.

Best wishes and thank you again for your kind comments.

Dear CMacUnicorn

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about the care you have been receiving from the teams within Fetal Medicine.

It will be a worrying time for you attending the Fetal Medicine department on such a frequent basis and its important to feel at ease and reassured with all that is going on. I will share your kind words with the team who will be delighted to hear your thoughts on the care you have received and how this is helping you during this time.

May I wish you and your family well for the remainder of your pregnancy and the future.

Best Wishes

Elaine
