I attended University Hospital Wishaw for a minor procedure as an outpatient, Ward 13 Woman’s Health. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who directed me to the waiting area. I was called soon after to speak to the consultant carrying out the procedure. She was very nice, informative and made me feel at ease about the procedure.
I was taken through to the room and was introduced to two nurses who would be assisting. Again they were both lovely and explained everything, reassuring me and making me feel comfortable. During my procedure they remained the same, chatting and asking me regularly if I was going OK. I was worried about the process, but feel both doctor and nurses kept me at ease and made sure I wasn’t uncomfortable in anyway. I would like to thank them all as they understand how worried people can be and they do a great job!
I have attended this hospital for various procedures over the years and I have always had a very positive experience. All the staff do a wonderful job and always with a smile!
