We were very grateful to Sufiyan, the Occupational Therapist, at the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. He was incredibly helpful in ensuring my mum received the correct equipment to support her release back to my sister's house.
By enabling us to access the equipment, our mum is able to be better supported by my sister and the other care professionals we have secured to allow her to stay at my sister's house - which is where she wants to be. The Discharge Team at the Victoria were also incredibly supportive.
We would also like to mention the night staff on Ward 41 who provided support for us all as a family throughout what was a very challenging time.
Lastly we would also like to say a huge thank you to Kelly - she was absolutely brilliant with mum. The team were all incredibly supportive despite being incredibly understaffed. Thank you so much.
"The amazing staff on Ward 41"
