"Getting an infected cyst removed."

About: Forth Valley Community Services / Health visiting Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Theatre & Recovery Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Urgent Care Centre

(as a service user),

My doctor referred me to Urgent Care after a cyst under my arm became infected. I went through the system very quickly and ended up in theatre to get it removed around lunchtime the same day.

All of the staff I faced that day were very professional, caring and working so hard. From being booked in to recovery, everything was good. I felt cared for and looked after very well. They never seemed to stop.

The care I received from being booked in to Urgent Care through to the visit from the District Nurse a few days after the operation was brilliant. I was checked on regularly and looked after so well.

Thank you for this lovely positive feedback. It is great to hear your journey through from Urgent care to discharge and then community has been good. I hope you are feeling much better, and your infected cyst has cleared.

I will feed back to staff and let them know you were very happy with the care you received. Thank you for recognition of them being very busy and never stopping.
