"Gloucester Ward, Skegness Hospital"

My Mum was admitted to Gloucester Ward in Skegness Hospital in September 2021 . She stayed there for 3 weeks, being discharged on her 93rd birthday back to her home. She was full of praise for all of the staff on there. This year, 2022 , the day before her birthday, she had a fall and was back there again!  Unfortunately, 2 days later she developed a chest infection which sadly led to her death last night. The love and devotion, not only to her, but the rest of the family could not be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble. Myself and my son were allowed to stay with her day and night and were looked after in every way too. We are indebted to every single member of staff who works on that ward, as they made an awful time into something to remember with affection. I can't thank them enough.
