My appointment felt rushed. The women asked me some questions but she was invalidating and just disregarded what I had said. For example, she asked me a question to which I said 'a bit' and she put 'no' down as my response. I had a pelvic examination, and she shoved the speculum forcefully into my vagina. She did not take into consideration any possible trauma I may have experienced, and I believe this was very insensitive. It made me bleed a fair bit for the rest of the day. I have had pelvic examinations done before by the doctors who did not use this kind of force, with only a small bit of spotting. She then proceeded to put her fingers into my vagina without even telling me. I feel she was not informative during the procedure, which did not put me at ease. She appeared very knowledgeable but very insensitive and invalidating. Not happy with the service I received.
