"My clinical needs have not been met"

About: Stirling Care Village / Livilands Resource Centre

(as a service user),

My clinical needs have not been met at this service for 10 years and the impact it's had on my life is huge.

I have had intimidating psychiatrists and I have also been told I'm not ill enough for a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), even though I have Bipolar and have been in hospital 5 times.

This service have actually made me feel suicidal on many occasions because of their behaviour towards me and their horrendous care. What happened to preventative care for vulnerable people with one of the most serious mental illness'?

I highly believe this service needs investigated, I have complained many times and nothing seems to get done.

My family and I are absolutely disgusted at this service and the degrading way they have treated me for a decade. Enough is enough. I want change.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us and share your experience of the care you have received from the Livilands Resource Centre.

It is always difficult to read when our patients feel we have not met their expectations or needs. Please may I take this opportunity to apologise for your experience, we certainly do not want our patients to feel intimidated during a consultation or appointment. This must be very upsetting and frustrating for you.
