For anyone who knows me you know how much I admire the work the nurses do for the NHS, however the last two weeks have taken that to a new level.
My friend was admitted to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary with a suspected stroke. From the staff in A&E to the staff in wards 51/53 and finally ward 36 I have no words to express my gratitude to you all.
From the domestic girls to the consultants I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. MRI shows no stroke but possible transient ischaemic attack (TIA).
The care my friend received was second to none and honestly each and every member of staff in the hospital deserves a medal.
The porters also do such a great job ferrying the patients from ward to ward. My friend is now home and continuing to do well
