"Midwives put me at ease even though they were busy"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Delivery Suite

(as a service user),

Had the most amazing care by the midwives in Antrim. They were so busy in the induction ward and delivery suite but always made me feel at ease.

Special thanks to Shelley and Hannah who were working in the the induction ward and delivery suite in early July. Shelley had a sore back and continued to provide the best care, was so professional and had the best craic which put myself and my husband at ease.

Hannah saw me in both the induction ward and delivered our baby. She was warm, calm and super professional even when she was so obviously busy.

My name is Helen Weir and I am the interim Head of Service for Maternity &Gynae /Deputy Head of Midwifery. Congratulations on the birth of your baby and I hope that you are both well.

Thank you so much for providing such positive feedback.I know the staff will be delighted to receive this and I will share it with them all. Both Shelley and Hannah are fantastic midwives and we are so proud of them and happy that they are part of our team. I will ensure they get to see this beautiful feedback.
