"Ulster Hospital Ward 3A"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Ward 3A

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The day staff have gone above and beyond to care for me, to make me feel safe and help me with pain.

Unfortunately, at first there were some issues at night with night staff - not responding to buzzer, mixing up medication, etc. However, the ward sister, Norma, responded to my concerns in a kind, thoughtful, timely and considerate manner. I felt listened to and valued.

The following nights after this conversation were to the same very good standard as during the day. Special mention to Norma, and the two deputy sisters Gillian and Ruth, your kindness and care was exemplary and will not go unnoticed.

Thankyou for taking the time to share your expreience in ward 3A unfortunately you experienced some issues at night time during your stay.It is important that I as a manager hear the negative experience so that I can share this with the staff concerned and improvements can be made so that it does not happen in the future.

The staff were extremly sorry that some issues occured they reflected on this and lessons were learnt.

Thankyou for also giving a positive feedback on how this was dealt with and the improvment you noted.

I will share this with the staff
