I am 83 and still paying taxes but am not getting the treatment I need. Ideally I should have my feet treated every 4 weeks but have been told that I cannot have them done as frequently as that and will have to wait 6 weeks, it makes it very difficult for me to walk 4 weeks after treatment so the last two weeks are very difficult.
The next appointment they have given me is at the end of June – I asked how many weeks that would be and was told ‘in 7 weeks’ but when I looked at the calendar at home it is 8 weeks before I go again -.
Why can’t they have more podiatrists so that older people like me can be seen every 4 weeks?
"Podiatry: why can I not be seen every 4 weeks?"
