I received pain killing injections with a local anaesthetic, under X-ray, at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen. Every member of staff was professional and friendly and explained every part of the procedure, from admission to discharge, clearly.
The porter who took me in a wheelchair to the theatre for the injections asked if I would be sitting or lying flat for this and when I explained the injections would be in my hand, he asked the theatre team if it would be suitable for me to sit, as that was my preference. They readily agreed and being able to sit and watch the procedure was very helpful and relaxing for me.
I commend Mr Lawrie, who delivered the injections and all the staff I met that day.
"Great orthopaedic/pain relief service"
