"In-patient hospital experience"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Anything else?

Following my surgery I had to wait in recovery for 5 hours. However this wait was made easily bearable by the one-to-one care of the Consultant and her colleagues. Later up on ward 10, the care I received, and the happy atmosphere around was far superior to what I had experienced on ward 10 in September last year. I was particularly impressed by the unhurried care given to very old and feeble patients on the ward. This I found quite touching. My thanks are due to all staff nurses, health care assistants and everyone else; both night and day staff. Many thanks.
