The service was recommended by my Physiotherapist from Bideford Hospital.
A lady called Vicky called to see me, we had a chat about the help that they could give me, and she listened to my words and my opinion. She supplied me with a brand-new walker that folded, could fit in the car, and has a seat on it.
This has given me a new lease of life. It has got me walking more and using the mobility scooter less. I am thinking of entering a marathon next year!
It was a fantastic service. She listened and didn’t assume what my needs were. We discussed walker options and on the next visit, she bought one out for me. She was wonderful and made sure that I could use the walker properly, practiced with me, and made sure it was the right height.
I wish that it was a service that I could have asked for sooner.
