"Professional and reassuring"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My husband came into ED today, understandably anxious as he is usually fit and well. Whilst there he experienced great care. He was triaged, had bloods and obs done, sent for X-ray, seen by 3 different doctors with other senior doctors consulted and then discharged home with antibiotics and an appointment to return to SDEC for further investigations in a relatively short amount of time. Huge thanks to all working, especially Dr Emma (sorry I can’t remember your last name) who was friendly, professional and reassuring.

Dear taltos5,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. It is great to hear of the positive experience your husband had when he visited the Emergency Department.

I hope he is recovering well. I will ensure that your comments are shared with all of the team especially the doctor in which you mentioned.

Kind regards

Sophie Grills
