HAPPY!!!
I was to be taken to hospital following a stroke. Ambulance service contacted me to let me know they would be there when possible. They called later with an update of timescale. The ladies in the ambulance were so lovely, putting me ease and reassuring me.
I had a lengthy wait to be seen, but the place was packed out. So obvious they need more staff. Poor people.I was admitted to a ward for assessment - I think AAU. Apologies if not, I was stressed with what had happened. I was given such care and treated with kindness. Special mentions to Inta I think it was (sure they will know) and also a trainee doctor whose name I forgot, but she had such a lovely way of reassuring me. She will make an excellent doctor.
I was then taken to Ward B21, where I would like to thank each and every one of their staff. They are worked so hard, yet they are cheery and can't do enough for you. I cannot fault anything at all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish the student nurses all the very best in their exams. The domestic staff do a great job too. Thank you.I had never been in hospital before, so I was frightened because of the horror stories I'd heard. My experience was certainly no horror story. Quite the opposite.Just a pity Mr Covid restricted visiting!
