"My recent care for cataract surgery"

I had cataract surgery at Moorfields, Northwick Park.

I am writing to express my thanks and gratitude to all the staff who provided the excellent care I received both prior to and in particularly on the day of my operation.

The whole procedure from walking into the hospital, the operation and discharge took 50 mins. 

The staff were kind, caring, organised and efficient. The atmosphere was very calm and reassuring.

My special thanks to my surgeon, Mr Leak, who was so reassuring and skilful and I am most grateful.  The procedure, under topical anaesthesia, was not stressful or frightening.I feel sure this is due to all the  staff who ensured care was of a high standard and carried out in a calm atmosphere.
