"A truly positive experience when I felt most vulnerable"

I felt so cared for in Craigavon hospital. From the elective admissions ward right through to recovery ward I could not fault one thing. From the secretary that greeted  me on arrival to the cleaner, student nurse, nurses, care staff consultant (Dr Niblock) anaesthetists.

This truly is a seamless service and was a pleasant positive experience at a time when I was at my most vulnerable having to undergo major gynae surgery.

I cannot remember the names of the staff that cared for me before or in the hours after surgery due to my nerves anxieties and medication but what I do remember is their faces and how they treated me. They kept me pain-free which was most important and they were so caring and professional.

Yesterday my positive experience continued with nurses who I can remember their names Claire, Mella, Lorna and student nurse Ashling. Dr Niblock was my consultant and she was a true lady, professional caring and has a bedside manner that is truly fantastic.

Can you please thank all the staff for a truly positive experience and a real example of how excellent the surgical department is at Craigavon hospital from start to finish? Thank you to all the team.
