"My labour experience"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Community Maternity Unit Maternity care / Labour suite maternity

(as the patient),

At the end of August I welcomed a beautiful healthy baby boy into the world.  I can honestly say the staff midwifes at Paisley RAH made this experience perfect from start to finish. Having suffered a bit of a traumatic labour experience previously, I was extremely nervous and worried this time round.  However, before, during and after my labour, I felt listened too, cared for and reassured. The care I received was truly exceptional and I cannot thank these ladies enough.  I really want to thank Abbie, Julie and Elaine. Also, another midwife who looked after me whilst waiting to go to the ward when Abbie had finished her shift. I feel terrible i cant remember her name but I'm sure it was Diane. Again the care received was exceptional and nothing was a bother.

Also leading up to the end of my pregnancy the care received at IRH maternity unit was fantastic, I cannot thank these midwifes enough. Two midwifes that I feel really made a difference was Hayley and Lesleyanne. I felt they both went over and above and were so helpful and reassuring. I feel all midwifes named are an absolute credit too the NHS.

Dear Rs95

Thank you for taking the time to send this lovely feedback. It is great to hear how well looked after you have felt and how reassuring the staff have been making this a positive journey for you this time round. I will share your feedback with the staff you have mentioned and I know this will mean a lot to them.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy

Best wishes

Angela Watt
