About: Cambridgeshire Recovery Service Change Grow Live Cambridgeshire / Wisbech

(as a service user),

As I got older, I realised I was gradually drinking more. I realised it was starting to have an effect on me and I didn't want to lose control.

I attended CGL Wisbech and found a connection with people in the groups. No-one was ashamed and no-one was made to feel shame. I admired people who came in and shared their stories openly.

I have been introduced to the March Recovery Service café and enjoy spending time with people who understand me and I admire the people there.

Hi Cath22

I am so please you have connected with others through CGL. Recovery is so much harder on your own, some would say impossible. The groups we deliver are part of your journey. Making connections with others. Recovery continues outside of these sessions in your community all of the time. Keep connecting and engaging with others. Well done and keep going!!
