I attended Duke of Connaught Day Procedure Unit Musgrave Park hospital. This was my second hand having surgery for carpel tunnel. What a smooth system is in place. All the staff were so professional and caring. The "hi" from professionals going past in their scrubs in the waiting area, helped settle my nerves. The unit is so clean. Mr Swain's team put me at ease and ensured I had a review before the procedure took place.
Working in healthcare myself, the nurse that sat with me is a credit to the nursing profession, put me at ease and so caring, sometimes we loose sight of how this basic nursing care means so much to the patient. Having attended Wither's four years ago for my first hand, I found this experience less nerve wrecking. Taken on time and on way home within, hour and half. Thanks to everyone for their care.
