"I feel very grateful for the care"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

So much is said about delays and difficulties in A&E there days that I just want to record the kindness and efficiency of my visit. I was lucky that it wasn't a busier time. The wait was 2 hours, as advertised at Reception, and once my turn came, the process progressed steadily. What made it a supportive experience was the personal and gently humorous way the team looked after me during the x-raying and bone-aligning processes - the latter being done very successfully (and with excellent analgesic). I feel very grateful for the care of this kindly and expert team.
