After falling in street I ruptured the quad tendon in my knee. 

After be taken by ambulance to The Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy I was admitted to ward 33 and underwent an operation to repair the damage. 

From the very beginning every single nurse, doctor and Physiotherapist we're absolutely magnificent. 

However two stood out as extra special. Staff Nurse Becky and Advanced Nurse Practioner Gemma. Gemma had also by coincidence   stopped at the scene in advance of the ambulance arriving and helped despite the weather being absolutely horrendous. Becky was just that bit extra special and unbelievably good at her job.

It's a fantastic team at ward 33 and all should be very proud of the job they do. They made what was a traumatic time a bit easier.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion of your time spent on ward 33. I am pleased that you found each member of the nursing, medical and physiotherapy teams to be magnificent. I am especially grateful that you have identified Jemma and Becky as having made such a positive impact during your stay. I will ensure this is shared with the team and they will be delighted that their care made what was a traumatic experience a little easier for you. We are incredibly proud that we have such an amazing team on ward 33 who often go above and beyond to provide excellent patient care and it certainly seems that this was the case in your experience.

Hope you are continuing with your rehabilitation at home and wishing you well in your recovery.
