"Issues with visitation"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

Only 1 hour visiting for 2 people per day. You have to ring to make an appointment but no one answers the phone. One day I rang over 20 times. During covid, when visitors were not allowed, you could not speak to anyone. There seems to be barely any staff around. It seems like patients are left to deteriorate, my family member went in with full mental capacity, after a few days this rapidly deteriorated. It seems to be that the term 'elderly ward' is used to excuse substandard care.
