"Staff commitment"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5)

(as a relative),

We were visiting my mother-in-law in ARU4 at QEUH while the staff were dealing with several challenging patients. They were exceptionally calm and professional from what we heard and saw, despite what they were dealing with. They did their best to ensure the safety of patients who were being verbally and physically aggressive, and worked cohesively as a team to manage the situation. Their commitment to their work was commendable and needs acknowledged.

Dear GOW5

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of visiting your mother in law in the Acute Receiving Unit of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It was great to hear of the professionalism and caring nature the staff within the department portrayed throughout your visit in often difficult situations.

It was wonderful to hear how the staff pulled together and worked as a team to tackle any challenges that were put in front of them.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the staff involved who I'm sure will be touched to hear such kind words.

I hope your mother in law is feeling better

Kind regards

Kevin
