"Eye checkup Torbay"

I was referred to Torbay Eye Clinic by my local optician. A small ‘freckle’ on my retina needed more sophisticated scrutiny. I went this morning and can’t praise the staff and system enough.

There were three minor procedures to go through before seeing the doctor.  All with different technicians, so there was quite a bit of waiting around before being called to the next one. I never waited more than a quarter of an hour and was always clearly instructed which waiting area to sit in.

Finally, it seems that there is no serious problem with my eye. The trouble that was gone to ensure that I had the best checks available was very impressive. Please pass on my thanks to all the staff. 

PS. I was dropped off about as far from the eye clinic as was possible so I had to ask a few people for directions. Everyone seemed to know the exact layout of the hospital - no small task.
