"The nurses were very helpful"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I feel that the Nurses on Ward 14 at University Hospital Wishaw were very helpful and couldn't do enough for me and other patients.

The reception staff were really helpful to my wife locating me when I was first going through the admissions process.

The food options are pretty poor and combos can be weird, option choices are not available when food arrives.

The schedule of treatment seems to be to wake people up through the night for BP tests etc instead of allowing them to sleep, something that's more beneficial.

Dear Anonymous22

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback of your recent experience within Trauma & Orthopaedics at University Hospital Wishaw.

I am delighted you experienced and witnessed the extraordinary care our friendly teams aim to deliver every day and I will be happy to share this with the team.

I have also noted your experience of the wards night time routine and food, we always want to make things better for your patients and families. It would be helpful if you could contact Patient Affairs at University Hospital Wishaw so that they can understand the issues in more detail.
