"We left well and feeling reassured"

I was advised to attend AMH Triage for a period of checks and monitoring after making an initial enquiry with my community midwife Kelsey and the triage team. 

During our afternoon in the unit we were looked after by Lauren. Lauren was kind, friendly and approachable. She gave thorough and considered explanations of what to expect during our short stay, she took a careful assessment and liaised with us throughout without being intrusive. During the visit she took great care to be an advocate, not only considering my physical health, but providing first class pastoral care. Lauren’s thoughtful patient centred care and excellent communication enabled the obstetric team, my husband and I to make informed decisions that were right for us. At a worrying time, this was the most positive experience that we could have hoped for. We left well and feeling very reassured.
