About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Ophthalmology (eye problems) (Ward 1c)

(as a service user),

I had orbital decompression surgery last September which was performed by Dr. Cauchi and Dr. Gillam. I now require further surgery on my eyelids.

I have the utmost respect and gratitude towards Dr. Cauchi  the nurses, and clerical staff in opthalmology. They are all so lovely, kind and caring.

What can I say about Dr. Cauchi? He is a truly amazing consultant and brilliant surgeon. I cannot thank him enough ( he made me feel normal after the surgery as my eyes were popping out of their sockets!!) Sometimes we are too quick to complain and too slow to compliment.
