About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Cardiac Pre-Assessment

(as a relative),

Attended cardiology appointment with my young son to check for heart murmur.

I was met by lovely staff who were interested in me as a new mum, and also the well-being of my baby. Yvonne (HCA) was very pleasant and showed a real interest in him and also the outcome of his assessment. 

The consultant, Mr Gupta was very gentle with him , and so reassuring with his feedback on his assessment. 

I left with clear advice and instructions from the staff

Well done to everyone. Some staff are just in the right job

Dear starhx35,

Thank you for posting on care opinion, it was good to read that staff were interested in the wellbeing of your baby and the fact that you were a new mum. I can only imagine how anxious you must have been having your son checked out for a heart murmur, it was good to read that the HCA Yvonne was there to support you following his assessment.

We will pass on your feedback to the doctor and HCA on your experience and the feedback given with clear advice and instructions, they will be delighted to hear your comments.
