About: Solihull Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

My sincere Thanks to an excellent all round service by the Endoscopy department team on the ground floor  at Solihull Hospital, Solihull( Heart of England,NHS). I was seen promptly, assessed by both Nursing and medical staff.  At each stage everything was clearly and succinctly explained to me and allowed questions. Before, During and After the procedure my safety and comfort were paramount and maintained.  There was a calm efficiency and team working from clerical , Nursing and medical staff.  It has been years since I experienced that when attending for Hospital appointments and procedures. Thank you sincerely for the smaller hospitals such as Solihull who should be maintained by the massive foundation trust it is under. The documents and information with discharge advise was excellent. I was last an in patient 41yeras ago when I gave birth to my daughter. There was a calm efficiency at the department. My sincere thanks to one and all.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your patient experience whilst in Endoscopy at Solihull Hospital. I totally agree with you, although I appreciate the NHS is currently under pressure, it does offer a fabulous service. I am pleased to read that you felt that your patient experience was efficient and thorough, it will be my pleasure to ensure your feedback is highlighted to the senior management teams.
