Following my recent stay on ward 46 at the RVI I strongly believe the NHS should be celebrated, protected and respected due to the excellent care of all the staff who were involved in my care. The surgeon's care both pre and post op was absolutely outstanding and was a constant reassurance to me throughout my stay. The nursing staff were wonderful, attentive and caring to all patients on the ward and made sure we were all comfortable at all times. What was particularly nice to see was the collaborative approach to the smooth running of the ward; everyone appeared to support each other! Thank you! I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest thanks to all staff and surgeons working on ward 46 for making what i expected to be a very scary experience such a good one.
