"Wasting time to get through to the automated system"

About: Sexual Health Services - North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

Used to be a direct landline, now it's hidden behind a non-working automated central system. Painful wasting time to get through to the automated system, even then they just hang up after 30-40 minutes in the queue, or just hang up without the queue.

Used to be just a walk-in and sort you out, now it's pointless appointments over the phone, face-to-face appointments take weeks, and leave you in pain without medication.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the service you received. I'd like to apologise for the difficulties you are having with accessing our service via the telephone. We are in the process of upgrading our telephone system and expect to see improvements in our telephone service in the next few weeks.

I will take your comments into account with regards to our appointment only system we have at the moment. We do continuously review our service provision and patient feedback is important to us to help us with improving our services.
