"Speech therapy"

My dad was admitted to the ulster and diagnosed with palliative cancer. He experienced lots of swallowing difficulties and was seen regularly by the speech therapy team. The professionalism, communication, care and overall input was outstanding. We were kept up to date on everything and felt that our dads wishes and comfort was a real priority (he hated thickener)!! Therapist Edelle made sure dad was able to have his cups of tea without thickener which really made a difference in his last few days and brought us a lot of comfort! We thank you all for the amazing care he received and commend you on all your hard work.
