"Our mum is doing great"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Hospital at Home

(as a relative),

My mum started with really sore legs. We thought we better phone doctors as looked really bad and as she is 92. It looked like cellulitis and she was in a lot of pain.

Within 20 mins of phone call there was a doctor from hospital at home on our doorstep.

Mum then started hospital at home treatment. I cannot praise this team enough.

And having 4 sons and 3 daughters all with their opinions, we were super happy every one of us. My god, what a lovely caring bunch of doctors and nurses - all so caring. They actually came gave mum intravenous antibiotics for 5 days.

My mum is not a lover of hospitals but when she seen these professionals approaching her door the happiness on her face said it all. She was so calm and of course each one got family stories from her, about her grand children and great grand children while they listened so attentively .

I RALLY CANT THANK YOUS ENOUGH - MUM IS DOING GREAT

Once again I thank you from all our hearts....she's our mum ❤

Dear Kelly/Fam

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience with Hospital at Home. So pleased to hear your mum is doing great, and I am sure the visiting team loved hearing your mum’s family stories.

Really pleased this was a reassuring and positive experience for you, your mum and the family. It is great encouragement for staff to be recognised and feel valued by people accessing services.

It will be a pleasure to share your feedback with the team.

Thank you

Karen

Dear Kelly/Fam

Thank you for taking the time to contact us via Care Opinion. I am sorry your mum was poorly and required to have to use health care services at all, but I was delighted to hear that when she did need us that we were able to provide the high standard of care that she needs and deserves.

Our staff work very hard to do their absolute best for all our patients and try to achieve th best person centered care by treating all patients as they would want their own families treated.

I will pass on your lovely comments to the team as I am sure they will feel very appreciated and enjoy reading them as much as I have.

Thanks again and please pass on our best wishes for your mum's recovery

thanks

Hazel
