"Me being confined to home."

About: Locality Health and Care Services / Community Equipment Store Occupational Therapy

(as a service user),

I've have had a deterioration in my health for the past few years. My husband and I have almost become housebound, me specifically.

But not any more.

We would like to just say a big thank you to Natalie for all the help she has recently afforded us.

Words alone are not a strong enough commendation for the work that she does. Natalie listened to our concerns and our troubles and right from the outset was clear and concise, very good at communicating each of the steps with kindness and compassion.

The stair climber she organised for us is going to be a great way to escape the prison we feel we have been in for too long. It has given us more confidence and brightened up our future plans, which to be honest, were limited.

We’d also like to express our appreciation and thanks to the demonstrators for the tutorials on how the stair climber works and to companies involved in making this happen for us.

East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership, would do well to keep these people in employment for they are excellent at their job and are an asset to East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

With thanks.

Dear Miner's Daughter

I am really pleased to hear about the changes that Natalie and her colleagues have made at your home to help you be more mobile, it is not a pleasant to think that you felt like your home was a prison.

I'm sorry to advise that Natalie has decided to leave the council to work for another organisation and she will be greatly missed.

Thank you for you kind words and I wish you all the best for your new, brighter future.

Kind regards
