I have been seeing my doctor for the past few weeks due to having low sodium levels. I have been having bloods done weekly at the minute. I received a phone call, stating that my liver enzymes or something were elevated. I was told to go up to the hospital straight away. This was last week. My time in the emergency department was alright, I managed to get a bed down in the ED while I waited for a bed on the ward. On the ward everything has been good. The doctors and nurses are amazing as is the food. I’m supposed to be having a procedure done this week and due to that my diet has been changed and I am only able to eat certain foods. This is normally fine, however there have been occasions where I have received food that is not on the list of food that I can eat at the minute which is frustrating when I try and explain to some of the nurses about this. There are also times where I feel like I am having to relay all of my information to different nurses only for them to say that they’ll check my notes to see if what I have told them is correct but then they come back and agree with what I have said. Aside from this inconsistency in communication and food, everything has been brilliant and the care I have received has been top class
