"Disabled parking at Monklands Hospital"

About: University Hospital Monklands

(as a service user),

I’m in the disabled car park at 7:30pm. It’s around about shift change over time for the nursing staff. I’m watching who is getting in and out of the badgeless cars. So far amongst a couple of other, it has been a number of  staff in uniform. No disabled blue badge. No wonder it is so hard for disabled folk like me to get a space.

I feel it is an absolute disgrace that health care workers are using the disabled car park. And it’s not like the main car park is full at this time of the evening.

Dear Disabled guy

Thank you for taking time to feedback on your experience, I am sorry this was your experience, we always want to make things better for patients.

It would be helpful if you could contact Patient Affairs at University Hospital Monklands, so that they can understand the issues in more detail.

PatientAffairs.Monklands@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk

Kind regards

Karen
