"We were in and out so fast"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

I took my son to MIU after a head injury (111 had advised us to take him to A&E which I felt was inappropriate so took him there), the receptionist was so friendly, kind and helpful. We were seen by ENP James who was fantastic, brought us straight in and treated my son quickly. We were in and out so fast, which I was grateful for as my son was quite distressed being in a strange environment. Thank you.

I hope your son is feeling better and making a speedy recover. It can be quite upsetting bumping your head and having to go to hospital and as a parent, it can be quite a worrying time too. I am glad you were see quickly and all was well. I will ensure your comments are passed on to the team. Take care and best wishes, Siobhan McIlroy.
