"Poor"

About: Wordsley Green Health Centre

I have been a member of this surgery for almost 30 years and over the past 15-20 years the surgery has slowly but surely declined. When appointments are available, most of them are telephone appointments. I received 2 missed calls from the surgery which I didn't answer as I didn't hear my phone whilst at work, I called the surgery back as requested on a voicemail, just to be told that nobody had called me and they had no idea why I would have been called and if it's urgent they will hopefully phone again? Clearly office staff do not make the relevant notes on records.

Recently I was told to collect two items from reception, I was given a packet and told both items were in there, once I checked myself, there was only 1 item so I had to return and ask for the second item.

Surely this could have just been checked before pass on? 1 item was for a sample, I was not told when given the sample or by the doctor that they have to be returned by a certain time of day and that the samples can't be kept on site by then until the collection on the following day.

On a separate occasion when I saw a GP, I waited for 40 minutes past the appointment time (may I add this was during covid times so there were barely any other patients in the waiting room) to be told by the GP to send them a photo of my issue and they would seek advise from someone else!!!

The attitude and mannerisms of reception staff are just appalling and not what you would expect from a GP.
