"Severe abdominal pain episode"

I had severe lower left hand side abdominal pain during the night. I took paracetamol and nurofen which had no effect on the pain. I could not get comfortable in any position.

I phoned 111 in the morning and then I had a call from my doctors surgery with an appointment. 

The doctor in the surgery was excellent and he gave me a referral letter to go straight to the Surgical Assessment Ward 15 at Stoke Mandeville. I had my ops done and a blood test. There was a long delay until I was seen by a doctor. They questioned me on my symptoms and then administered painkillers, and said they would come back to me in 5 minutes.

Several hours later another doctor called me in to a room. Was not aware that I had already been seen. I’m still waiting to be seen by a senior doctor. I have never felt so invisible and poorly treated in my life. I am very disappointed by my treatment. I hope no one else is treated in this way.
