"Operation"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as a service user),

Yesterday I had a Hyseroscopy and Endometrial biopsy carried out at Wishaw Hospital.  All the staff were very attentive and could not do enough for me.  They watched and monitored me all day’ always asking if I was ok.  Dr Pandravda who carried out the opporation was excellent along with the anaesthetist who gave me some sedation on top of the local anaesthetic in order to get the biopsy done.

I would just like to thank all those involved and a mention for the theatre nurse who stood by my side throughout the operation trying to keep me as calm as possible and encouraging me to see it out.  Unfortunately for me this procedure was extremely painful but everyone did their best to keep me at ease.  The staff were brilliant and very professional in my opinion.

Thank you all once again.

Dear George Orwell

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the treatment and care you received from our staff when attending University Hospital Wishaw (Ward 13) recently.

Your exceptionally kind words will definitely put a spring in the steps of Dr Pandravda and the team. I know I am delighted so your positive praise will certainly make their day!

It will be my pleasure to ensure all staff involved in your care are made aware of your lovely words of encouragement.

I hope you are recovering well and not in too much discomfort.

Best wishes

Jean
