"Outstanding Care"

Administering pain relief and leg dressings. I had CABG x 4 and felt pretty awful afterwards, which is probably to be expected when your insides have been on the outside! I needed constant pain relief and towards the end of my stay found the suppository was highly effective.

Step up nurse Nicole. Now it cannot be pleasant for a young lady to have to mess about with an old man’s backside, but she did so without complaint, remaining totally professional, caring and dedicated to my recovery. Once done, Nicole’s student, Alieshae, stepped up to change my leg dressings and fit my support stockings. Perhaps considered a simple task, but my legs have been stubbornly refusing to fully dry up and so need careful attention. Alieshae, having been supported and trained by Nicole is another consummate professional and would not stop until everything was as good as it could be.

I felt humbled in their presence, that two brilliant nurses simply would not stop until my care was complete and perfect. My needs came first, WOW! Thank you ladies, I really don’t think you know quite how good you are. I have never felt so looked after in my life, so supported, so safe when at my most vulnerable. Words cannot express how what you did for me, made me feel!
