"Appalling"

About: Corby Urgent Care Centre

Took my son here with an injury. Waiting time was long. Numerous people entered after my son, were seen, treated and left.

I asked at the reception how long it would be and I explained that he was in a lot of pain and we were told he was next. He wasn't next and other people who came in after us were seen first.

Eventually he was seen and referred directly an x-ray. This was done quickly. Then we were sent back to the waiting room.

While waiting I saw three adults go in for xrays. All were seen before my 9 year old son who was on pain, with a broken finger if turns out.

I am appalled that a 9 year old child in pain with a broken finger kept being put to the back of the queue and left sitting so long in pain.

The staff were friendly but the system here is seriously flawed and not fit for purpose.
