"I cannot thank the staff enough"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Paediatrics University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

We unfortunately ended up in the ED of Ayr Hospital in late February after 5 year old son managed to give himself a concussion while being overly exuberant and hit his head on a solid oak table.

From initial assessment to Ayr through to an overnight stay in Crosshouse I cannot thank the staff enough for how smoothly everything was and the calm professionalism with how things were managed and how kind they were to us both.

Having to sleep on a camp bed at the side of your child in a Hospital bed is not something anyone wants, but I am very glad we were where we were due to the excellent staff.

Dear AzulBlue

thanks so much for taking the time to write to us during what must have been a very stressful time for you and your family.

I hope you little boy is doing better now and I will ensure your messages are passed on to the paediatric team that cared for you.

I wish you and your little boy the best of health for the future and thank you again for contacting us

best wishes

Attica
